An Overview
There are 139 skulls in the collection, all of them with interesting and unique stories to be told. I spent several months looking at their stories and creating an organized catalogue for them. If you would like to see the catalogue, click here.
After I organized all of the data, I analyzed it, to see if there were any patterns or themes. I looked at age, sex, cause of death, religion and location. There is, of course, an immense about of other data that could be analyzed, but much of it is about the medical lives of these skulls, and I am not the person to do such an analysis. Below are the graphics I created based on the data, as well as explanations.

Locations
As well as looking into the data above, I also looked at the data about the places of origin of the skulls. Below is an image of the map, but if you would like a closer look, please click here. Most of the skulls are from Europe, but there are 2 skulls from Egypt, and 10 skulls from Asia, 7 from the Middle East and 3 from eastern Asia.
